The First Professor M.V. George Memorial Endowment Lecture was organized by IISER Thiruvananthapuram on Monday, 14 Dec 2020. The Memorial Endowment Lecture has been graciously instituted by Professor C. N. R. Rao and Mrs. Indumati Rao in fond remembrance of their enduring friendship and the contributions of Professor George to Chemical Sciences. The first lecture titled “Mentorship and its Importance” was delivered by Professor D. Balasubramanian, Director of Research at the ‘Professor Brien Holden Eye Research Centre.’
